We believe the ultimate measure of our success as social investors is the
creation of economic activity that supports healthy communities. Community
development investing plays a significant role in that process, and a growing number of investors are
allocating a portion of their financial resources in this manner. These investors are confronting poverty and injustice by providing
capital to build affordable housing, create jobs and upgrade human services.
High-impact investments in low-income neighborhoods offer individuals and
institutions the opportunity to reap significant social dividends from their
portfolios.
Walden's community development investment service provides two avenues for
investment: market rate and/or below-market rate instruments. Management fees
are waived for below-market rate investments up to 5% of a client's portfolio.

offered in Walden's community development investing service, visit the Community
Pages of the Social Issues Library.
